    Hello everyone,

    We are curently working to develop a new SEO tool to analyze your websites.

    The tool will be called Page Power and obviously will be located in our new and unique directory concept.

    The way Seomoz's PS tool is working in the last period with searching restrictions (one search a day?) and mostly inaccurate, made me think at something new.

    To keep the story short, Page Power will analyze your website from 10 different sources and will create a scoring system for every of these 10 tools and then will give a final score on a scale from 1 to 10. The final score will actually be your website Page Power.

    Five of the queried sources are actually well known factors (PR, Alexa, etc) while the other five has never been used together in such a project.
    I'm not going to tell you which sources/tools will be used as I'll leave it for the grand opening :)

    Now I would like to ask you to post in here which tools do you think are a must in order to check your website, to explain the reason why you choosed that tool and to give a url in order to be tested by all DP members. Some of your suggestion probably are already on my list, but if it is something interesting that I missed, I will add it to Page Power !

    Also I'm looking for one or max two sponsors for this tool. You will get a 468x60 permanent banner just above the tool . Click here to see the page where the tool will be installed! For more informations and details about sponsorship please PM me

    Thanks

    PagePower

    P.S. - I would also like to T.H.A.N.K to Coolsitez for his fantastic support and help in finding the best possible sources! :)

    Nice Idea and Nice Name for the Tool!

    How much of an investment do you think you would need to get this done?

    Good idea.
    Since I don't know how to do a tool like that I have been waiting to see a tool similar to PS, which as you say lately is showing inaccurate and different results.

    loredan,

    GMTA ;)

    I was thinking the exact same thing to myself a couple of days ago so I went out and registered pagemuscle.com although I have since found another idea so will probably put that on the back burner now you are doing one.

    The PS tool has become a joke, first free, then they tell me I need to register to refresh my reports. So I go and register, low and behold they then restrict it to premium members, bah!

    Let's make the tool something unique and useful ;)

    I have suggested this to loredan in PM, along with a whole bunch of other things ;), but let's hear you guys opinion.

    Along with the PR of domain, I want the tool to also check on the PR of inner pages/links on listed on the domain page.

    I want the tool to check;

    # of inner links that have PR
    Level of PR

    The idea is similar to visual_pagerank but I want the tool to check this factor in the final evaluation of Page Power.

    This factor can tell you;

    the domain has an ability to pass PR, indicating domain is most likely NOT expired

    if the domain has passed PR, it could indicate the site is well promoted overall, not just getting backlinks to the domain only.

    Comment?
