    1) Does naming convention has effect on SEO.
    2) How can i get these new pages indexed faster if i change naming.
    3) Will the PR of my earlier pages be gone and these new pages get PR 0.

Naming has an affect, and it would be better to name them gold-jewelry, for Google to understand the two words.
You can ping your pages to a service like pingomatic, you can also submit a (new) sitemap in Google webmaster tools

YOu should redirect (301) from the old pages to the new ones (which you can do with the .htaccess file) and after that, ask in google webmaster tools to remove the old pages. Doing that you'll keep the PR

Hey that seems a great advice. I ll Implement that all.

I guess i should change the page names to Gold-Jewelry ASAP before the pages goldjewelry gets indexed now. OH Google now dont crawl till i make the changes -:)

How much time does Pingomatic take to get pages indexed

pinging can result in an index in as little as an hour, or as long as a week. Another way to get indexed is to gain some new backlinks. the spider will follow the backlinks and spread all around your new pages.

Hmm thats a great idea too but where to get the Backlink is also important as often does the site gets crawled itself.

depending on what kind of cms you use you can change the url structure to seo friendly structures. wordpress press is VERY good with this and you do not have to use redirects if you change a url name.

Always use name-anothername instead ot name anothername or name_anothername,also i feel this is the best NAME-ANOTHERNAME.Sometimes capital letters can be handy

Yes, it's the space in the name of the page. You have to encode it like it appears in your address bar in your brwoser (with %20% or something looking like that)

It marks the end of the first url in your .htaccess to it tries to redirect from a non existing file to a "non understandable url"

Try never to use space in url.

I did nothing with the spaces. I just removed those pages from server and uploaded the new once with a - in place of space. Now google has indexed my new pages. I have lost the PR of pages with a space

What does your .htaccess file look like? Bear in mind I'm not a .htaccess expert, but I'll see what I can do, and if I can't help, I'll recommend you to someone who can.
