Hi, Our site http://www.americancell.com is doing okay in the search engines, for a new site. Strangely, while 20+ pages appear in Google's cache, there are over 150 pages that do not. The category pages (like: http://www.americancell.com/q_blackberry.htm) are all cached but the product pages (like: http://www.americancell.com/buy-Cingular--BlackBerry-7290.html) are not. One suspicion I have is that we may have too many dashes in the page names of the product pages - does that sound right to anyone? If anyone can take a look and let me know if there is something else wrong with these product pages, I would really appreciate it! regards, Sam.
I don't think the problem is hyphens. It looks to me like an incomplete site - I'd love to have one of those Cingular Blackberry 7290's for -0.01. The description is messed up too - the end of the first paragraph reads: ... accounts, BlackBerry has also added more memory, high-speed da It cuts off in the middle of a sentence. Fix these problems, and make sure your souce validates, and you should be in better shape.
Thanks for the comments... The price is actually -0.01 meaning you get back $0.01 after rebates. And we sell a lot of these. (Look up "blackberry 7290" in Google)... The missing text problem will be fixed in a day or so. It's a database field length issue. regards, sam.
