page name symbols

    i have seen some pages ending with a # symbol ie: test.htm#
    how is this done, as FP does not allow page names with this symbol.

    You shouldn't be using Front Page in the first place :D

    # is just an anchor. Without anything after it, it must be an erroneously empty anchor if you ask me.

    # is an HTML fragment identifier. For example, if you have in the middle of the page something like this

    <a name="section-1"></a>

    and then type URL my-url.html#section-1, the browser will take you to the named anchor.

    is the page i was looking at, if you mouse over 'test windows'
    they all have # in the page name.

    i will have a look at the source code :)

    hum....this is interesting. i've also noticed some sites were able to have special characters in the title tags displayed correctly in google
