Page Jumps Around In Google

Is it normal for a page to jump around in Google? One day I'll look my page will rank on page 2 then the next day page 8 then the next day page 10 then back to page 2.

 

yes, normal. Specially for new page or new site

 

Serp position do change a lot for a new site but with dedicated effort over a reasonably good period, you would surely see it getting stabilized!

It changes frequently. As long as your website has solid content and steady backlinks, you will eventually find your place

Yeah it happens for keywords you're still working on stabilizing. Today one of my sites was #10, I refreshed and it was #1, refreshed again and it was back to #10.

 

Yes this is known as Google dance, its perfectly normal to jump around, eventually it will stay at its right spot, till then its going to jump around.

 

OK. My sites is 4 years old but I do add new content to it about once every 2-3 days as it's a blog.
