Page Indexing?

    Im kind of confused about something how come I have so many indexed pages in google but VERY LITTLE in the other search engines?

    Engine Total No. of Pages
    Altavista 4
    Google 8,970
    Yahoo 4
    MSN 5
    All the Web 4

    Why does this happen exactly? Thanks

    Maybe you have a strong backlink that Google really likes, but the other SEs don't rank it as high. :confused:

    Usually this happens the other way round with Yahoo! indexing 1000s of pages while Google indexing very less

    Humm... have seen this kind of thing for the first time. But it is really amazing the gap is too big.

    Yes usually yahoo indexes more pages for me then google.

    yahoo is very slow for indexing. i have good index count on google which is over 30k. yahoo did not increased my index count for nearly 9 months

    Well I am happy about being greatly indexed in google yet I would like to see some results in other search engines.. im not sure what im doing wrong though lol
