Just a quick question. If you edit your site online (ie.Mambo etc) it generates page impressions from yourself.Does this matter and how does it effect your account if at all? TIA.
It is one of the things about adsense reports that does annoy me. Many webmasters spend quite a bit of time on their own sites, so unless you've configured things so that they don't show ads to you then you can completely alter the look of your stats. One thing I'd really like is to be able to specify for a specific IP address (or hostname) to be excluded from the stats.
Adsense has specifically said elsewhere that it is OK for webmasters to view their own sites and they won't be penalised (i.e. a tacit admission that they discount impressions from your IP).
It always puzzles me if Google dont exclude the site owners/editors IP from their cpm reports, how would they know if all the page impressions are made by the webmasters themselves editing their site or genuine visitors...
I also the same, because I use Mambo and only build my websites online. I build them ONLY online and including the google ads at beginn (it is easyer). I think also there is no problem with this, but I was asking this question myself also. Yes thanks for the replies, all.
