Page Impressions From DP to My blog are good but no revenue Why?

Hai guyz I have a blog , I entered my adsense pub id
Since some days i been getting some good page impressions
but no revenue is being generated , I also been posting some good posts in dp

Can anyone tell me the reasons

 

There can be many factors,

just because you get decent amount of traffic, that doesn't mean that they'll click your ads.

firstly, the ad position may be off, and a lot of people like me are not likely to click an ad.

Also, I don't know what you consider "good page impressions", so I won't be able to say much either.

For my case, I'm getting such low traffic that I can't even expect any revenue =(

 

Your ad isn't displayed 100% of the views...
And just because you make a post doesn't guarantee you a click.

Though if you make a good quality post/thread that gets a lot of replies and views, you're more likely to generate $$$ with it from your AdSense input.

Why are all the ads packed in the bottom like that ??
Webmasters are picky when it comes to clicking ads, they think twice before helping you earn money + the content should be arranged

 

It is just the luck of the draw whether you get clicks or not from a thread you are involved in

 

I think the OP is referring to not getting any revenue from clicks on ads on HIS THREADS here at DP, not his blog.

The simple fact of the matter is that only 50% of the impressions LESS your own impressions will be counted to your pub-ID, and even then the CTR is low. To quote my figures on adsense, the eCPM for my digital point channel is $0.23 so if thats fairly average you can assume that you will* earn 23 cents for each thousand impressions you get.

Mind you, I guess it also depends on the value of the keywords associated with your thread

(cue webmasters quickly opening lots of threads with expensive keywords.... and all of a sudden the BST section is full of threads about mesothelimia (or however its spelled....)

Most people here in DP are webmasters and don't usually click ads.
