Update: After talking with someone by PM, it seems that I was right originally... The page of the Yahoo Directory I am on IS NOT indexed by Google. IT IS cached (using the cache: command), but not indexed by Google, because it does not appear with the site: command, but more importantly, it does not appear when you search for a phrase from that page in quotes. So, it looks like I am not getting the full benefit from my Yahoo Directory listing right now. I guess I will have to try and point some links at that page in the directory and see if Google indexes it. I am still not sure about linking to it from my own site, because I am not sure if Google would always see it is a reciprocal after that.
Che loco, como estas..... I would just contact them and explain to them while you appreciate them allowing acceptance that the link isnt being indexed your just looking to get another page... after all you are a paying customer. thx malcolm
That is never going to happen, you are paying for the review and by submitting you are agreeing to their TOS which means that you have no control where your link will end up or what the title and description will be.
estoy re bien, viejo...y vos? obvious things like this always seem to go right over my head! thanks for the suggestion. i will contact them asap! but i don't know whether they will bother to help me out, I won't get my hopes up too high....
