On my site tech-pro.net, all the most important pages are linked from a navigation panel running down the left hand side of every page. The home page has a PR of 5 and most of the pages linked from the navigation have a PR of 4. One article, Continuous Data Protection, has no PR at all. The page has existed for more than a year. It is indexed and cached, but does not appear anywhere in search resullts for that term. The HTML seems to validate OK. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong with it? All the other articles listed above and below it have a PR of 4 and get a lot of hits from Google, and some of them are newer than that page.
I was also thinking duplicate content - is it original, did you write it or did someone write it for you?
It's original content, and it is not duplicated anywhere that I know of. I have one article on the site that was syndicated from a free article site, and is not linked off every page, and even that has a PR of 2.
The same with my pages...You know google always achanges its algorithm of indexing pages...No trouble if your homepage is normally indexed...
