    I noticed one of my pages does have a PR of 4 but when I try to get cached version of it, it isn't there. How come?
    By the way I use google toolbar to view cached.

    If you use the site: query you won't find it either. But don't worry, this is an issue with google. Hopefully they will fix it soon

    got a newbie question: what does cached site, in this context mean? I mean cached site in relation to page rank?

    I would appriciate an explanation ( to a newbi )

    Thank you in advance.

    I,ve seen pages with high page rank -7 - that are not indexed... and not even heavy linking to them didn't result in indexing

    Well, according to experts in this forum PR is a measure of pages value and importance. To me it doesn't make sense that google gives a positive value to a page when it doesn't even have a copy of it.

    In the past - before this choas - google would de-pr a page if it was not suitable for caching.

    Actually you do have the option for Google to index the site without caching it. It is in the robots section of your <head></head>.

    <META NAME="robots" CONTENT="NOARCHIVE">

    That would disable caching.
