    Hi everyone

I have made the site http://www.omalzheimer.se (Swedish).
My problem is that for some of the pages their description begins with a timestamp in Google.

For example the description for the page ‘Bemötande av Alzheimers sjukdom’ begins with:
“17 apr 2009 ... Att bemöta ett förändrat beteende hos sin anhörige med diagnosen Alzheimers sjukdom.”
    LINK:
    http://www.google.com/search?q=Bem%C3%B6tande+av+Alzheimers+sjukdom&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:da:eek:fficial&client=firefox-a"]http://www.google.com/search?q=Bem%C3%B6tande+av+Alzheimers+sjukdom&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:da:eek:fficial&client=firefox-a

I do not want it to list the part ’17 apr 2009 ...´. Instead it should show the description.

Other pages show the correct description without the timestamp.
    Example:
    http://www.google.com/search?q=Alzheimers+sjukdom+Erfarenhetsber%C3%A4ttelser&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:da:eek:fficial&client=firefox-a"]http://www.google.com/search?q=Alzheimers+sjukdom+Erfarenhetsber%C3%A4ttelser&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:da:eek:fficial&client=firefox-a

My knowledge of SEO is very limited so I have no idea why this happens.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

Nowadays Google is not showing exact meta description while displaying search results under any specific keyword. Google will match search query and your meta description. If search query is included in meta description then Google will display your meta description otherwise it will search for words (related to search query) in page content and will display description accordingly.

I hope you are clear now.
