Got some pages de-indexed today not sure why, they were indexed yesterday the site was launched a week ago FYI.

    Any SEO experts know why?

It's just a normal process all sites go through, they'll be back, just keep on doing what you're doing.

thanks - sounds good another question - Is it bad to change titles when google has crawled the page already?

I know the normal process thing has been explained, but just now I checked again and they de-indexed the only page that was left in the index. Oddly enough they added another 1 single page. I'm just going to let it sit and bake.

One of the hardest aspects of SEO is to wait for Google to do something. It could take 2 to 6 weeks for them to respond. I would advise you to set up a Google Webmaster Tools account and use that. It give you the status of what's going on. It helps the SEOer that is impatient.

    Like me...

And if you do change the <head> section all the time, Google will penalize you for overSEOing.

this does happen regularly with Google, there's nothing much you can do about it other than to keep building back links.

I totally agree I've built many good sites but was never behind the SEO in any of it. Yup I got all that good stuff analytics, web ceo, webmasters tools with sitemap submitted. First site on my own SEO supervision and very impatient :)

    Thanks guys

This is a time period of a few months where it is difficult to get rankings on newly registered domains. The theory for this that Google is trying to encourage webmasters to build out existing sites with content rather than to create a network of many sites.
