Hi, I was wondering what the minimum word count for Google to take notice of a web site. I have heard that pages should have a minimum of 800 words of unique content to be noticed by Google. Thanks
For what it's worth, I got to #1 on Google with a page that had only 132 words. (It was a non-competitive term.) Therefore, I don't think that an assumed 800-word minimum is anywhere near true.
There is no exact number of wording per page you should have. It should not be any problem as long as they are unique and quality (no grammar error, plagiarism , etc.). However, I would recommend for at least 300 words per page to be most effective from my own experiences.
There is no Minimum or mAx. limit set for the No. of words, But yeah You have maximum Limit set for the keywords by the Google that is 100 keywords per page and that too at the ratio of 3:2:1 , exceeding it would be considered as keyword stuffing and would be liable for penalty.
Never heard about this in my SEO carrier of 4 years. If you consider this as correct then wonder how websites which sells products comes to first page of G?? Product selling websites do not have much contents on their pages except fake testimonial etc.
I dont think there is any restriction of the number of words in a content, but it should not be less than 250 words.
