I was recently enlighted on page authority via SEOmoz. I'd now like to ask, which one do you give more preference to? If you are choosing between 2 pr 5's for a link obviously you pick the one with higher page authority. But what if it is not so clear? For example a pr5 with a page authority 20 and a pr 2 with a page authority of 85. Which link do you want?

How do you assign page authority score? IMO a page with higher authority regardless of PR would work better.

As a general rule its best practice getting links from related pages.

    HI
Page Authority like a single page to rank well, regardless of its content. The higher the Page Authority, the greater the potential for that individual page to rank well in search results. while page rank just tells you the position on Google.
