Page 2 Google, Page 1 Yahoo, Page 3 Msn

    Hi,

    thought I would share this with you. I bought a domain name a few months ago on DP but didn't do anything with it until I made a one page html saying the page is for sale (no content)
    I checked today and the page is on Page 2 Google, Page 1 Yahoo, Page 3 Msn
    for a competitive keywords for (The Clap)(The Clap STD) Not a great topic, but it has potential to make money. Already it is getting traffic.

    So today I have played around with it and written a lot of my own content and used some open source content. I still have to re-do the template etc
    Just placed some google ads on it.

    Just amazed about being ranked so high with no content. i will never figure out the mind of a search engine.

    Any ideas as to best monetize the site? Sell antibiotics?

    huh. So you are sure the website was listed in serps before you put the post on dp?

    Have you looked at the incoming links? Perhaps whoever you bought it from had a site up with those keywords.

    Or google likes you?
