Hey Everyone, Here is a brief overview on how to get on the first page of Google in a few hours (certainly less than a day). The first part begins by finding that elusive 'long tail keyword'. This is part science and part art. Let's assume that our niche is 'Hoodia'. Go to http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/ and type hoodia into the search box. Eventually, we are looking for a keyword that returns less than a 1,000 results in Google and has something like 2 to 7 searches per day. Scroll down and one keyword that you will find is 'hoodia weight loss pills'. This has about 26 searches per day on Google and is still too high. Click on the keyword to drill down. Here we'll find one of the keywords 'pure hoodia cactus weight loss formula' which has 3 searches per day on Google and 236 returns for results. This is very good and it is easy to rank on page one for this keyword. However, this is not good enough and this is where a lot of beginners make their mistake. We need one more element if we are going to make any money. We need a long tail keyword that is also a buying keyword. A buying keyword is one that someone types into the search engine when they are ready to buy and not just doing research. As an example: 'best place to buy hoodia'. This keyword returns 689 results in Google. Plus, it is obviously a buying keyword. Here's what you do: Post an article to your WordPress blog titled 'Best Place To Buy Hoodia'. Find 4 to 11 long tail keywords with 2 to 7 searches per day that return less than 1,000 results in Google. Go to http://www.socialmarker.com/ and bookmark your new post (click on the title of your post and copy and paste title which should be http://yourdomainname.com/best-place-to-buy-hoodia). Include Digg, Reddit, Stumbleupon, Propeller, Mixx & Technorati. Add the RSS feed for this article to: http://www.bloglines.com/ http://www.feedage.com/ http://feeds2read.net/ http://friendfeed.com/ http://www.lifestream.fm/ http://www.profilactic.com/ That should do it. 24 hours or less on the first page of Google for your keyword. Good luck and let me know how you make out. Please leave your comments. Best, Scott http://scottsoloff.com
You use quotes to determine the competition. And that's not working all the time. Taking your example: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=best+place+to+buy+hoodia Notice how many drug stores are in top 10-20-30. It won't be that easy to outrank them. Otherwise your longtail keyword strategy is fine. My point is the competition can't be determined correctly by using quotes (" ")
Thanks for your reply, but that's not exactly true. While you can do more in depth analysis, it usually isn't necessary. For example, I listed #1 for my term while I had only 300 hundred backlinks against a large company with 6000 backlinks. You would be surprised at how poor the optimization is for large companies that are paying a lot of money for their advice. In other words, in most instances and for most niches it will work fine. Eventually, we are looking for a keyword that returns less than a 1,000 results in Google and has something like 2 to 7 searches per day. when you say that, do you mean when you search google for the phraseit comes up with less than 100k results?
You Yap, You will not get banned from Google for this. You will however, get banned from the social bookmarking sites if you spam them. Maverick07, No, I meant 1,000 results returned from Google when you do your search with quotation marks. But, your keyword (article, blog post or whatever) will show up on the first page of Google for that term without quotation marks. This technique will actually work for returns of up to 30,000 results and 50 searches per day. The difference is that for the for first criteria (2-7 searches and 1,000 results) it is all but guaranteed. Best, Scott
By the way you can use http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ It shows the same results but the output is more user friendly.
Nice, generally, the press release distribution service also can help you rank #1 within couple of hours. e.g.: www.free-press-release.com www.prweb.com www.ezinearticles.com ...
Hi, Thanks for the question. The answer is no, I did not get this out of Google Manipulator. Yes, I did a review for Pawel. If you read my review on his salespage you would have noticed that I said, "How do I know that it works? You teach many of the same techniques that I use to make my living online." I share what I have learned so that other people will not have to struggle like I did when I started. Best, Scott
This Sounds Very Confusing To So But I Think You Have A Great Idea. Its Hard To Get Good Keywords When It Relates To Online Money Making. Do You Have Any Suggestions On This?
Hi, Yeah, I have some ideas. But first, a simple bit of advice. The making money online niche seems to be a hard one to break into. With that said, finding the right keywords is part science and part art. First, you just start by by typing your main keyword into your keyword search tool (http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/). Then look for long tail keywords that are appropriate for your site or for articles that you can write (and that have between 2 & 7 searches per day). Make a list of your keywords and type them into the Google search bar with quotes. Those that have returns of less than 1,000 results should be winners (not always, you can do more in depth research if your an over achiever). Last but not least, use your imagination. Not every keyword will turn up in your searches. Make a list of the ones that you come up with yourself and repeat the process. I hope this is clear. If not, just ask. Best, Scott
Nice info. Do you know how to rank well for a phraze that returns 1 million results? Can you get it in Google within 12 hours with a single backlink?
