Ok so i target a keyword that is not a major one probly a medium one if that, it gets searched for about 22,000 times a month says ovture. I go to msn and search for my keyword and then look at some of the sites that come up by using market leaps backlink checker. Site 1 Total: 3,370 MSN: 2,330 Yahoo: 970 Google: 35 Now the sites below this are generally the same some have more back links and some dont. Heres my site Total: 3,099 MSN: 2,373 Yahoo: 726 Now this is what im thinking. MSN only counts backlinks picked up by msn which i have 2,373 all of which have my anchor text. For me to reach page one will pointing LV or CO-OP weight help it get to that page faster????? Also i add new content to my blog for the site daily. If anyone could shed some light as to if im doing the right steps or is somthing up??
I have several page 1 listings on MSN on some highly searched terms. What I did was to optimize the pages with webceo (free version), make sure my internal site links were good (anchor text on internal pages is important) and get more links than the other sites. (I rent most of them) That's all I know, but it worked. Good Luck.
it is about positioning how come my site doesnt show up in the serps yet when im starting to pass those in the top 10
Send me a pm of what keywords you targetting, I'll send you long list of one-way and two way links. Approach those sites and you'll go no.1 Of course, for free mate!!! Regards, Dilip
basic on-page seo can get you ranked on msn, i believe backlink anchor text can help, but one of my sites that rank well on msn, only has one back links and gets a bucketfull of traffic from msn. the term is search for 152796 a month (overture) and currently takes 6th spot. all im gonna say is its a 3 word phrase "my blue widget" and it has just under a 2% keyword density, also "blue widget" has a 2% keyword density and "my blue" has a 3.4% keyword density. "my blue widget" is also found in the page title. hope that helps somehow
