PacificRack.com - horrible servers in L.A.

For those of you checking out L.A. servers, stay away from this company. Our box has crashed over 15 times in the past 2 months and we can't even SSH in or check stats to see why its happening cuz it gets so screwed up sometimes. Their staff is unhelpful, uneducated, and they have a bad attitude. So far, they have offered us 5 reasons for our problems, none of which have turned out to be true. At one point that asserted we capped our bandwidth limit - what a joke, we weren't even close. Another night, our server was down for 5 hours because they had a "typo" in the HTTP monitoring software they used. Interestingly, this is not the first time they've used "typos" as an explanation for our problems. Their sales team doesn't even reply half the time to emails. They pretend to offer live chat support, yet no one ever replies and you must submit a ticket in the end, which you will be lucky to get answered these days. Don't let their cheap server configurations fool you - it seems too good to be true, because it is...

    You've been warned.

Update: Their customer service phone number just forwarded me to some old lady at an "answering service" WTF? This company is an effin' joke. Our box has been crashed for 45 minutes again today, and their techs hung up on us earlier without having checked our box yet... sweet Lord... they didn't even ask for a callback number LOL. Who are these people?

How do these companies even stay in business?...

Wow, I am actually on their RTO page and the offer seems delicious. :D
But after reading this, I'm certainly will do some more research.

Anyway, found this thread by googling.

You should check out Sago Networks in Tampa, FL. Their network is awesome and their technical support team is the best. I've had my servers with them for over 8 years now and we have been very satisfied with their service.
