From the website, there is an office address in Kansas, which even if a virtual office could lead you to the persons home address..
There are a number of checks that you can do.. limited company, his name, his address, in order to be able to at a minimum provide a little bit of discomfort.

But how much are you owed? Is it worth spending so much time chasing?
From a legal aspect, do you have a contract?
I'm figuring this is just one of those things that you have to chalk up to experience.

You could send your complaint (and any evidence, including the skype log) to the Attorney General's office in the home state of the guy (Kansas?) and see what they say about options you might have to collect payment. They usually have someone that deals with this type of fraud. @ceoflo is correct in noting that it may not be worth the effort, depending upon how much is owed, because it will be a long and painful process and there is no guarantee that you will see any of the money.
