Truth is you probably cant unless by luck, best way is to work on a way of coding just the footer area and force the attribute link to stay in place. I'm working on a way now.

I would like to address the people who THINK that I am "stealing" by modifying something that I paid for:

First, in regards to the PHPLD:
I would like everyone to read the following information:

    http://www.php.net/license/3_01.txt

It appears that items 1 -6 have all been violated with this software. Shall I contact my lawyers and let the people at PHP.net know of these violations or do you want to prove to me otherwise?

Also, it is my understanding that PHPLD is distributed under a modified version of the GNU which gives me every right to change whatever the hell I want to...

I would find it very hard to believe that every single person who is sitting here bitching owns licensed copies of all the software on their computers? How about we call up Microsoft or Adobe and ask them to verify that? The bottom line is that I used some inspiration from other websites to create my design. No one is born knowing everything and I'm sure that each and every one of you has borrowed an idea from someone else...

The only one on the list it may be violating is #4. I don't know, though. It seems like most PHP scripts are named php something. So, there may be something on that I don't understand.

Again, I don't know a lot about GNU, but I do know it is in the license agreement for usage of the script that the link has to remain unless it is paid for removal. If you don't like it, don't use the script is pretty much how it works, I think.

What does other people's software usage have to do with you anyway? If someone else does something illegal, does that make it right for you to do it? I can't speak for others, but I own every piece of software on my computer. Piracy is something I battle with myself as the owner of a software company. So, obviously I consider that important. As for having "used some inspiration from other websites", that is hardly the case here. You used almost the entire template, exact graphics, etc. So, the case is much different than inspiration.

I would say asking you to remove my email so I don't get anymore spam is hardly childish, It goes to show the kind of business you run.

To any potential customers: Keep this in mind, If you decide to invest you hard earned money with these people, you risk them "deciding" they don't like your website for no concrete reasons. They may just decide to Blacklist you? Send Red? Or attack you personally (example: this thread). Who’s childish?

Likewise to the same little ring of you.

If you don't want to give anybody credit, why don't you get your own template designed or your own script coded?

I'm not a coder? Thats why I paid for a copy of phpld. I was using the css file as a base. Any designer likes to start with something. I removed everything thats his now so it's done and over with. I don't steal websites, it just helps to have something to start with. So again, It's all down and I'm happy to comply and remove whats neccesary. Do you see me hiding, I replied asap.
