I cannot believe your reply. You have admitted to stealing key elements of the design. That's just as bad. Doing something like this kills your credibility. You have already lost your best customers, I would imagine. I hope to see you do the right thing and either put the links back in place or change to a different design.

This is happening way too often. Drown the guy in red and don't submit to his site. Toss some links at this thread with his domain name as anchor text.

Also: is it really so hard to keep a back link in? It doesn't cost you anything to leave it there..

 

i bother ... and every other designer bother because i am pretty sure if you consider putting yourself in our shoes .. and see how much hard work we put in to these designs and for someone to just come and steal ... i believe no one should submit to their sites and hold off their revenue

I have been thinking about this for a very long time. How hard it is for them to keep the footer links of a free template? It doesn't cost a dime and yet why they remove it?

You can only use the free template PROVIDED you KEEP the footer links. You can always pay for the footer links removal fee if you want them removed

 

think its pretty obvious that Lex350 is unrepentent and refuses to accept reasoning and persuasion.

surely there must be something we can do with these ppl who violate the very conditions that was laid down in the use of templates! how about starting a blacklist list?? All websites that violates rules or known to display shameful behaviour will be listed there for others to avoid like the plague.

We may not be able to recover the damages from them, but we can sure hit them where it hurts.
