PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THING Alright, this is it. I want to make like $1000 per month from marketing and I dont know if my plan will work but I WILL give it my best. Im going to be using affiliate marketing. What I plan to do is start off with a Product Review Blog that has good and bad reviews (for better conversions, i guess). It will be reviewing Money making products. Next I plan to promote this blog as much as I possibly can untill it gets a crapload of backlinks and a decent position in google. After thats done, I will move on to my next site. My next site is going to be an online Web Design Magazine for people interested in web design. I plan to promote this site aswell, just focus on the make money online blog more. Lastly Im thinking about doing a weight lifting / men health blog that promotes products that are related. My Questions: 1. Is this a good marketing plan that will enable me to reach my goal? 2. How long do you think it will take for me to reach my goal? 3. Should I do Product promotion or lead generation? If your making $1000 or more a month please link me to your sites that make the money so I could take a look at them.
This will work, but you have to make sure the reviews are good and you have a stronger marketing plan than this place. The backlinks are great for SEO purposes, but you really need to use as many sources for traffic as possible. Article marketing Twitter Facebook Groups Yahoo Groups Forum Marketing Video Marketing Blog Commenting SEO Also make sure you collect your visitors emails, I personally run 2 review based websites in the IM niche alone and find offering your advice in the form of these reviews is enough to get people to opt in. Work hard at this and you'll find you'll be making more than $1000 online per month. 2.Anywhere from 2-3 months 3.Both
Just keep in mind that you are going after three very competitive niches, so your progress may be a little slow. You really have to find a way to differentiate yourself from the thousands of other "make money online" and "health and fitness" sites out there. Your product review blog should focus on both product promotion and lead generation (mailing list style not CPA offers). Think about it this way: The purpose of this site is to provide good information to people looking to buy these types of products. Those that believe your review will hopefully buy the product right then, because you're basically pre-selling it and giving them a reason to purchase. Those people that don't buy right then are still potential customers of other products, so you want to give them the opportunity to sign-up for a newsletter or notification of new product reviews. Most of these people will be a gold mine because they are already pre-qualified as people interested in "make money" products. Don't leave any money on the table. Give your visitors a good reason to come back and buy from you.
You might want to drill down within the make money online niche and find something very specific to promote.....some ideas off the top of my head include article marketing, ebook publishing, learning to use Google Adwords, making money blogging, etc. If you can create a site that specializes in teaching just ONE aspect of making money online instead of wandering all over the place with your subject matter you will attract very targeted visitors and be able to get your website traffic easier - you won't be competing so much with the big boys who have had their blogs and sites up for years in the general making money online niche. I'd steer clear of doing a web design site. How are you going to monetize it? Unless you're selling an ebook or guide you've created, what are you going to sell there? Tools like hosting services might be good, but most web designers who land on your site will already have their own sites and hosting. I'm thinking that that one might be very tough to monetize. Most people who find your site will probably already have their own sites. The muscle building and men's fitness niche is also highly competitive - I recommend drilling down into that niche to find something specific and less competitive. This could be everything from how to increase stamina to promoting just one muscle building product (instead of lots of them.) You could try the Niche Marketing on Crack technique which can work very well - this is where you pick just ONE product to promote on your site and grab all the traffic for that. Otherwise you're going to be competing with broader men's fitness sites which are older and more established. Dan
