    Whats an estimate on Overture results and how they relate to Google.

    I thought I saw something that said 10 to 1 but now I'm not sure.

    I'm just looking for an estimate no exact type figures.

    Example
    Overture November result for;
    visit texas - 178 searches

    What would the number be for searches on Google in November (5X the amount - 10X the amount) ???

    Thanks your feedback would be appreciated.

    I read somewhere (I don' remember exactly the source) that overture doesn't count the results with google)
    Let's suppose that google represents 75% of searches, that would mean there were last month about 700 searches for "visit texas" and about 520 from google.

    The overture search counts are based on searches performed at overture/yahoo.

    Every time you query their keyword suggestion tool, you are changing the search count.

    As such the overture tool is not very good at giving reliable data.

    [state changed by measurement - quantum physics, anyone?]

    Also lots of automated bots use the overture tool and further skew the results.

    I know of one keyword suggestion tool that sources data from all over the place, including Google it's self. It's currently under development but I'm promised it will be ready soon!
