Hi, Overture is no longer giving us new data anymore. It has served us well and is now in retirement mode. Fortunately, we can still use Adwords Keyword research tool or other free keyword tools to perform similar keyword research. :)

That's what came to mind for me too.

Google might be taking heavier traffic because of this, too.

Overture is dead. Maybe someone has using it to study the loophole in search engine system?

The thing i likes about oveture is it actually gave the number of search results where as google adwords keyword suggestion tool only displays a bar as low - med - high etc searh volume. this is really not good.

Besides the external adwords tool mentioned you can also use http://www.google.com/trends.

When used in conjunction with the adwords tool its quite useful especially for seasonal/topical keywords.

I use keyworddiscovery. I'm not sure what it's based on but it does the job for me and it's free. :)

keyword discovery uses wordtracker results. wordtracker is not accurate for google and yahoo.

I'm gonna help you guys out with this find:

    http://123promotion.co.uk/ppc/

This site somehow is still returning overture results. It has overture and wordtracker. I'm not sure how they are still doing it, but they are. Have fun and don't use it too much so it freezes up on me now!!! :D

google suggest is another option, and though it doesn't give you numbers, it does show very long tail keywords.
