it's their own stats aimed at the advertisers that pay money accurate as of january means outdated you know
No one knows if its accurate, but as what I know, all results was based from the searches/queries made in yahoo. Overture is a good tool but the thing here its not yet updated. So its much advisable to use different tools and see the different results
if you'll compare the results given by Overture it gives more keyword alternative related to the searched query than the other keyword search tools. The only problem with Overture- it's not yet updated so we can't say that it's accurate
Overture results are corrupted by "automated bots" performing searches to extract some information. WordTracker's results are much better. Check my sig for how I do my keyword research.
Once you obtain the data from Overture, I suggest you to check the data again by https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal to make sure the data is accurate.
thanks, But adwords doesnt show the volume in numeric form. I cant guess what the bar signifies or is relative to
yes it is but taking a sample from a universal set concludes for the whole...it may be for yahoo but the deviation is so small
It's okay to get a rough idea of keyword ideas, however with all the automated keyword submission bots out there skewing the system, you can't really use it to establish keyword pop.
http://www.webceo.com has a decent keyword analysis tool. I think http://wordtracker.com/ is probably best...but not free
I guess it's not that accurate anymore... but I think it can still be a reference... I use that sometimes...
