Not really good news for the folks here... People here want work done for almost nothing (I have seen people asking for quite large projects in PHP for $50-$150 total, which is impossible, but some even go for it...). When the market heats up, prices rise. Like when India was starting out as outsourcing for webstuff somewhere in the 90ties prices where nice, like $2-3/hour, in 2001 the rose to $40/hour because of this 'heating up'. Ofcourse if you search well you can easily get cheap ones, but a heating market is not good news at all.

It's going to be adavantage to those people who Outsource work to India because in India price of Rupee has decreased by 15-20% against Dollar..

So I think people may be bidding at even lower prices..

but $40 per/hour is too much..

For excellent quality $40 is actually fine; there is no way though to say anything about the quality upfront. They can show you any code someone else wrote, or whatever and you getting total blah in the end. Anyway; I think heating up is generally a bad thing for price. Except if a lot of high quality guys would join, but ofcourse that is not really possible (most programmers are bad anyway).

Outsourcing online work is always going to be around, and isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

I think to say outsourcing "online work" is a misnomer , its not like in the physical world. The Internet has no boundaries.
