Overpaid CEO's

I've seen alot of flack in the news over the last few months, people complaining how CEO's shouldn't be paid what they are and have their bonuses taken away.

If you ran a company that made billions of dollars a year, would you accept a basic rate salary? I don't think so.

I think the public are ignorant to what being a CEO entails, because I think if they did know, they would have a very different opinion.

    What do you think?

In my opinion, they need to put themselves at the ceo's shoes. If you manage to get the company to get billions of dollar, they are surely very good. Futhermore, they are going to have day to day pressure that obviously making them lost a lot of their time.
So, yes, They deserve a good paycheck.

They definitely deserve the amount of money they make, even if its really large lol People who say they don't deserve that much money are just jealous. I can understand them being jealous, I wish I made millions as well :)

I would say there Pay is a little high and should be at a more suitable level But i totally agree that alot of these companies wouldnt be where they are today if they didnt have some of the CEO's Already stated.

How come CEOs weren't making nearly that much just a few decades ago? What's up?
Besides, a lot of CEOs in fact maKE the company LOSE money.
But anyway it should be up to their stockholders to decide what they should be earning.

I believe that it's just fair that CEO's earn big amount of money when they perform really really well and the company is increasing its profit.
