We are currently working on several aspects of our site, on page optimization, backlinks, new areas of our tax help section, creating a forum, while also trying to test our software. We were just wondering if our page is over-optimized, under-optimized, or we have just gone way out into left field with this. I don't know if I can post my url in here so don't banish me. onlinetax.net

Not a bad start...The site looks very professional other than the content being too far down on the page, which I'm assuming you were going to correct anyway.

Given the nature of your business, I would be definitely steer away from on page over-optimization because it could turn people away, but you have not done this at all. In fact, I would put more content on the home page and target more keywords personally.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply. Yes we have just began creating content for this site. We just recently switched domain names and are trying to get higher than we were last year.

over optimized can affect your site ranking.. since you are starting creating content for your site.. considering KD and prominence.
