"overflow"

    I wanted to define the height of my main content box. I added "height= 400px;" and "overflow= auto;".

    I got a box with a scroll bar as desired, but all text and images had disappeared. All that remained was the contents of the two sidebars and the background color of main content. I removed the height and overflow and it was all back to normal. Anyone know why this would be?

    It's likely that it might be caused by some other code, can you post a link to the web page in question please?

    Hi - thanks for responding.

    I found the error - misplaced div tag. The page would still wok without the overflow function but now with it. It works properly now and is up and running on most pages of my main site - link in signature.
