over a dollar a click on adsense for search?

I game across this yesterday....
AdSense for search 1 1 100.00% US$1,132.20 US$1.13
is that a mistake? i have always found that the search always paid pennies but i have never had $1.13 for a search.
I average between 30 cents to over a dollar in the content part but the above was a bit of a suprise.
also is it possible to find out what the search was and what the site was that was clicked?

 

You can check the search query from the "Advanced reports" - Choose "Adsense For Search" Choose "Top Queries Data" and choose the date range when you got the click.. if you dont get many clicks from search you will be able to find which keyword got you that click..

 

you hit a goldmine to have a $1 worth of click.. could be some top keyword

 

I agree, if you can figure out what keyword brought you that click you can focus on that topic and turn it into a profitable website.

I think thats what it is, but for some reason a lot of search clicks are ver, very low.

 

thats what worries me qwestcommunications up until now most search clicks are only 1 or 2 cents, but $1.13 seems unbelievable, i have never had anywhere near that before.....i only hope i get a few more

 

So adsense search isn't worth adding to my site? Does it search your site only or does it search google using your site?

 

For me adsense for search works great so far, I got an average $1 per click.

I dont think you should be showing all your starts I believe its against TOS.

 

Google search is just one of those hidden gems. Sometimes it pays out good, other times nothing much. Depends on what they are searching for.

 

$1.13 click, thats excellent. WOW I've never gotten above 28 cents.

 

Ive had exactly the same thing, usually I get like 10 cents and then one day I had $1.50 for search
