    1. make the top banner TEXT ONLY.
    2. Move the 200x200 on top of the right column.
    3. move the link units a little higher on the list.

If I was you, I would add a 250x250 or 200x200 on the first post (text-wrapped).

I also would put a link unit (728x15 or 468x15 if 728 doesn't fit) on the very top, right under the header. WIth Black links, white backround, white border.

How is that possible? Ad Placement on your website should metter in this cases.

Check my article in the above line about general notes on ad placement according to google.

You have put an image ad above your content but google says that image ads could possibly cause dropping in revenue, so try text based ad units.
Then try a wide skyscraper on the left(160x600) as wide ads attract more your visitors and are clearly visible.
Then between each article use a 200x200 square ad unit.
Try to avoid google image ads.

Try using regular ads instead of image ones. I also would try making ad links blue so people know they are link just to see what happens

I barely saw your advertisements, so it follows that you haven't received any clicks in spite of the traffic. Try slapping the advertisements within your posts' body. Alternatively, you could place a 300x250 (or even 336x280) slot of advertisements right below the posts' title, in place of the images that accompany each entry. I would suggest you go to the big players' blogs, to get a jist of how they placed their advertisements to derive optimal earnings. :)

I suggest you a 468x60 text ad and don't forget to change the ads color(use the open air palette).
I saw you had some ads on your right(sorry I said left), replace them with skyscraper 160x600 as these are more visible ads.
I think just paste the code from google adsense setup for the square ads.

Seems better now, though I insist to change the color of the palette.

I suggest you use a blue(or open air color) title like I did with the "blue" and black color fo the text and green or red for the URL.
