I have been unable to read my external drive,Seagate Free Agent 4TB HHD, today after my wife lightly tipped it over on her way to the airport. Now she is in on a trip and I don't know how to tell her that our back up HHD is not working. She just and I have until Saturday to try and repair!

The external drive mounts only as 4GBs, but there should actually be 4TBs! Any ideas on how to repair bad blocks? I dont want to isolate bad sectors and then repartition-- thereby wiping out all of the pictures. I just want to know if there is a way to repair bad blocks and try to recover the lost partition. I am using clever files' disk drill pro and other apps to try to find partition, but there is nothing! I think the bad sign is that block number "0" is a bad block-- according to disk drill.

I have until Saturday before I have to accept defeat and break the bad news!
