Well, since you don't like them how about telling everyone the magic formula that you use!

how much are you making from that site now if you don't mind me asking. I am planning on doing a similar method but want to be sure my hard work will pay off and I will not be penalised by google for having thousands of backlinks.

Not much as of yet, but the camera will not be released in North America until September sometime....so the buzz has not fully hit over here yet. It just got its official release in Japan today, so I'm sure more will surface on ebay...and hopefully people get there through my ebay widget!

Great set of tips...I also find it painfully boring, but as you said, it's well worth it when you see the results are paying off.

Link building is always incredibly boring, but if it helps you make money its always worth it. These are some great tips, and by using these tips I am sure people can get on the front page for their keywords ( if there is less than 1 million or so results on Google ). Thanks richlowerclassjerk.

Good advice, worried about the quality of the links though. And if you build up your links too quickly don't you get penalized by Google?

All my link building methods were through legit (whitehat) means, so I don't know why Google would penalize someone for hard work. Stranger things have happened though and I don't have a definitive answer on this issue.

Yes but again it depends upon PR of sites returned in search...
it long trip and hard work.. to make comments on 6000 blogs a day without automation...
well we can surely do semi automation to this process...which will make things little faster...
but I will never go for such a huge link building in short period of time...
but i dont think it will harm.. in any way.....it should not..in my opinion it should not harm....

    EDIT:

If google penalize this way then every one will start building links for competitors... and
one can always claim that its not me... someone else did it to me...

you are not responsible for anything out side your domain...outside your blog... its my opinion again....
but I still go slow.. to make it look more legit... more genuine....

Google has not yet credited a single one of your over 6000 links.
    Try google search query: "link:http://www.finepixreal3dw1.com/"
I am not sure if this astonishing number (6000) really matters, when you don't have any link trusted... except for the humans that may follow them.

Using link: in google only returns a subset of links. That subset can actually be zero for very well established websites with huge numbers of very trusted links. Google just choose to show us whatever they like. If Yahoo is showing 6000 links then he's got at least 6000 links (Yahoo link: also doesn't show the full amount available through the Yahoo API).

I believe that the results google returns for "link:mysite.com" are the links that google takes into account when it calculates your PR and any links that are not returned by this query are considered "spam" links by google, which is basically right in this specific case, since all these 6000 links are not a result of the sheer value of his website, but come from hours spent in spamming the internet with low-value comments just to insert his backlink, which for me makes it blackhat (or at least dark grey)

for 800+ posts that's quite amateur'ish .. maybe you should just come up with a decent site that people link to in the first place ;)

Hmmm... looked up your finepix real site in your sig. In google serps you're no where to be found in the first 500 results for digital camera or digital cameras as this is your main keyword. According to you, you're on the 2nd page.. maybe for another engine other than google but that might be something you can specify. Not trying to throw salt just thought I'd point it out.

I've looked at a couple of your posts and you are a talented designer, but I would recommend you keep your ego in check and don't bother commenting on the thread if you've got nothing to contribute.

How do you know that digital Camera and digital cameras are my main keywords? Actually my main keyword is Finepix Real 3D, which is the name of the camera. I do believe that i'm ranking where I said I was for that keyword.

Just search 'submit rss' or 'submit feed' and you'll find all that you need.
