Over 40k impressions on 181 unique visitors - WTF??

    I have a site that has over 40k impressions today on the single ad there. Usually I get around 400 impressions per day. Anayltics show 181 unique visitors for today.

    WTF is going on??? I only got 1 click on that 40k impressions. Could it be an error or is someone generating false impressions? I have removed the site from my allowed sites just to make sure.

    added: over 52k impressions now on that channel, although I removed the site from alowed sites few hours ago

    I think you should notify google adsense, to let them know that this is not normal and that you don't know why it's happened.

    i had something similar happen yesterday. i had 1000 impressions adsence and anylitics says 200 now there is no way they went through all the pages on my site. but im australian and the anylitics is 1 day behind... mabye this is it.

    Doesn't analytics have every conceivable tool to determine where those impressions are coming from?
    Search on all the recent IP's....dig deep.
    Let us know how it works out.

    HoW??? :O hmm... notify adsense before they find it out by themselves and better tell them you're unsure on how this happened and take their support...
