Do you think paying for 2k directories over time is more valuable than paying for adsense or other things to advance your website. It's a big investment but would like to hear your input...I already exhausted free directories

Yes I think long-term you will do much better buying good paid directory listings than buying adwords.

You mean to spend $2k in Paid directories OR paying for 2k directories ??

If it the first case, I will say, it depends what you have in mind for your site and what kind of site you have.

But generally, getting quality one way links (Either directories or ur relevant sites) will give you more benefit in the long run than advertising with Adsense. If you have a highly competitive term, $2K will be gone in less than a month :D

Well, if you are SEOing for your website, directories are very useful. Adwords campaign can be good for quicker results, and it certainly is great advertising tool. If you can afford, do both.

There is a basic fundamental difference between the two. Adwords or any pay per click will bring you inorganic traffic, while directories bring organic traffic.

So you have to have both IMHO.

what ever you do, start slowly.

Furthermore, its by no means certain that your site would be accepted by all directories
