It seems to be more of an embarrassment for the current admin that is at issue than the actual content released.

Openness is the best policy, the present Administration does not seem capable of successfully administering a single situation to anyones satisfaction.

of course, Ahmadinejad love to be a hero for Muslims, always love to shown Iran as barrier and hardliner in front of Israel.
Sadam done it either just he was hero for Arabs but Saddam just occupied Kowait and invaded Saudi. just see situation in the region, now Iran has more power and influence in the region than Sadam had. Ahmadinejad knows what Muslims love the most, deny holocaust, say 9/11 was an inside job and committed by Zionists and so on.
I guess the war already started in Middle East between Iran and Arabic countries, Just USA entered in conflict zone and so far America done in favor of Iran.

maybe its the first step to bomb iran (the nuclear facilities).

and to add, dont discount the recent shelling of the north koreans as an act of an old despot. the politics of the shelling perhaps lines in the middle east.

It is the garden speaking (as usual). Who knows what it might say from one day to the next?

I can't make myself believe that; sarcasm is a bit too intellectual for BW.

Bill Clinton stated ""I'll be very surprised if some people don't lose their lives" over the current WikiLeaks data dump.

I'm not seeing anything which supports that statement. What am I missing?

Names of people cooperating with the US in Afghanistan and Iraq. People like SolarProducts and Betaturd are taking notes.

Most of this people kind of already suspected/knew. It's a good thing to open this kind of stuff up. Maybe it will help to clean up the governments corruption.

Maybe that's why WikiLeaks has such a good Alexa rating -- millions of people are online checking their own names.

loved the Turkey's PM speech today :p A simple apology isn't enough for him itseems  may be he is pissed how their double standards were exposed too

Assange (hope I got spelling rite) requesting Hillary to step down is a fair issue. In spite of her been exposed (the order to espionage) she is still trying to deflect the real issue. shame on her

begin to wonder what would be the next case on wikioleaks chief, may be kidnapping

It looks like he's headed to jail for raping those two Wikileaks volunteers.

He should announce that he's a Muslim, then rape could be a protected religious observance for him. :p

LoL. I think hes gonna end up dying over this. Its one thing to release a doctored helicopter video made to look like US servicemen are blood thirsty. Its quite another to expose the corrupt Russian government or the activities of Iran and Saudi Arabia. Apparently most Muslim nations are now blocking the site.

I think very few people believe Assange is anything more than an opportunist, weasel and all around scumbag. But the reality is, I think that the state dept, the US government and our Secretary of State and Intelligence dept should be more concerned with keeping information like this from getting out, rather than blaming it on the messenger.

If the info never gets out, Assange cannot post it. Shutting Assange or Wikileaks down does not fix the problem. We have some serious issues in this country with regard to our intelligence gathering and securing of that information.

I can't make heads nor tails of that disorganized site anyway. I'd bet most of the info people are getting is now coming from the press, not people reading the site.
