Forum has 8255 registered members, most of which are spam but there must be ~500 real members, there is no way to know of course.
After the spam control was applied, there have been no spam members.
The forum has seen little growth as i dont promote it AT ALL.

Cost
I spent about $50 for installation of plugins/mods and this nice theme.
And the forum has overall cost me more ~$500 including paid posts.
Doesnt eat much bandwidth so that shouldnt be a problem.

Posts
Forum has about 1300 threads and 150 posts.
About 400 posts were done manually by me, with all original writing.
Some were done by an automated software and were leeched from other forums.
And rest were done by paid posters so they are also originally written.

Revenue
Consider no revenue as it was not monetized as such, i put adsense just 2-3 months back and havent seen any sort of revenue.

Traffic
The traffic is 100% organic as i have never promoted the forum my self.
here i have stats of this week, have no more stats as my host provides these only.

IMO, your BIN is way too high. Almost as high as your Starting Bid.

I understand you're trying to get the money back you paid; but lets be a little more realistic here. I doubt that's going to happen. The last post made was over 3 months ago. Nonetheless - by you. Rationally speaking, the site is quite.. Dead. There's not a single active member/topic/post/thread, or anything. Mentioning this forum has 8K members is virtually pointless. They're essentially not members, but used account names that would be wiped by buyer. Instead of going on, I'll just break it down more clearly.

Monetized - No
Revenue - No
Advertised - No
Alive/Active - No
Content - Only what was posted by you. Considering this is a 'fast-changing' niche, it's all outdated; therefore, and sad to say, nearly useless content.
Traffic - No

I could go on, but I think you got the drift. You spent $500 on it, and now it's dead. Therefore, the value of it is also dead. If I was you, I would price it this way:

IPB Costs - Whatever you paid, minus 30-45% - it's a used item.

Domain - No more than $10

Forum Revenue - Total made in the past year.

The value of this site to you, the creator - Be realistic here, as the value of something is what positive aspects it brings to your life & wallet and anything in between.

What the BIN should be. Starting bid at 75% less than bin, IMO.

Please also understand my friend, this post is not to flame you, downgrade your forum, down-talk your price, or ruin your sale in any way. I spent over 15 minutes on this post, so trust me, it's only for the best intentions. The only intention, that is, is I am interested in buying this and completely re-doing most of it, and this price is just out of the ball-park for what's being sold.
