Outting The Lazy Webmasters

I have had it put to me that i look to review websites that are designed purely for the basis that they are going to have a small mini site placed onto them and then linked to the high hills in order to get the site to the top of the Google keyword.

I want to know what the general thoughts were on this as i have never been one for liking mini sites that have been produced by webmasters who have bought the domains and content and then leave it there to rot in the hope that they get a high value of clicks through their sites.

I found one site last night that i passed comment on and they were aiming towards the highest paid adsense term Purchase Structured Settlements which apparently is offering over $50 per click at the moment.

Looking at the site its obvious that the site is a cash cow, should i be looking to name and shame people like this in order to build my profile up or was the suggestion placing me into the wrong sort of light?

 

What is that Purchase Structured Settlements?

Are you talking about people are taking $50 per click, or you can make $50 per click? confused..

Im talking about revealing the people who are looking to create cash cow sites, not the people who are clicking the ads,.

 

We are all entrepreneurs trying to make money. Why do you care if someone was smart enough to make a mini site just for a keyword that pays high? You have way too much time on your hands. Focus on making money and not on others making money.

 

The suggestion was to analyse the quality of sites that are been placed onto the internet to provide people with the right sort of information that they are looking for.

We specialise in reviewing websites and so it would be more a look at the site in general rather than a witch hunt.

 

Well, I guess I can't disagree with you, but I don't really care what other people do. If it makes them money then I guess it's good for them then. I'm sure adsense or their advertisers will find them someday.

 

Still seems like a waste of time to me. You could be doing something profitable with your time.

 

Hasn't Google already done this for us? I see very little use in a link directory or a website review (unless you are offering the author a critique).
