Along with commenting on blogs myself and doing social bookmarking
I am considering outsourcing blog comments on dot follow blogs with a pr of 3 or up and social bookmarking but am concerned the quality of either of these may not be good since there is no way I know of to check the work. Can anyone recommend a ligament way to get this done?

I think it is the best way to improve your website with the social bookmarking. That gives the better traffic to your website by doing with this. It gives the better view for anyone to build the better back links for the website.

allwayslearning-I know what you mean. I have been doing my own commenting and I take the time to be sure the comments are ON topic. I would like to hire someone as well but think I'd be spending a lot of time checking their work so I may as well continue to do it myself~

At some point if you ever want to make significant money in internet marketing, you have to learn to trust other people. I hope that you consider your time to be too valuable to be wasted doing repetitive, menial tasks like blog commenting and social bookmarking.

It's tough though, I've been there...you never think anyone else can do it correctly so you waste hours on silly tasks.

    Here's what I'd recommend:
    • Sign up on oDesk
    • Post a job for whatever it is you need, eg. "blog commenter". Write a very clear description of what this entails.
    • Hire someone who you think is suitable and affordable. Interview them if need be. Make sure there's no obvious language barrier. Some people say their English is 5/5 but it's far from it.
    • Write clear instructions of what you expect and/or make a video demonstrating what you want them to do.
    • Setup a shared Google Doc spreadsheet where they record every URL that they make a blog comment on
    • Verify the first 20 or so manually
    • If the person does a good job you can hopefully trust them to keep it up, if not, correct them where they went wrong
    Good luck! :)

Actually there is a very easy way to check blog commenting effect. You can search for those blogs using commentluv and top commentors widget, just make sure that the freelancer get you into the top commentator list. In that case, you will get massive backlinks.
