You will never stop it. Americans won't do the work for those kind of low wages, and they certainly won't pay the high price for the end-product/service if the work is done in the US at US wages. Americans want to have their cake and eat it...high wages and cheap prices....and, did I mention no sacrifices. Jim

There are some people that dont have jobs because of circumstances, but I suppose thats not what we are discussing here. Anyway, USA can never ban outsourcing, it would be like banning capitalism. USA is the biggest lover of capitalism in this world so how can outsourcing be banned there ? Not possible, luckily. As mentioned USA is all about the survival of the fittest.
Offshoring is good to an extent. Finding IT workers in the US is next to impossible, the job market is so tight that a lot of times you're forced to go offshore.
Being out of a job isnt the only concern. The salaries are getting killed , and good luck getting a raise.
Outsourcing is not a curse but a boon to man. India is expecting new outsourcing contracts in the future.The company who is outsourcing jobs are benefiting in terms of reducing cost price.
In the end everything boils down to profit. The companies will keep outsourcing if they get manageable quality at a bargain price. Outsourcing is here to stay!
You are buying the products and getting the services at the current price only because of out sourcing and off shoring. You will never like to pay four times(or more) price for the same product or service if they were made/provided in USA
