There are many excellent writers on this forum, but you might also have luck with the bidding sites. The topic of your book might also make a difference as many of us have specialties.

I'd encourage you to check out portfolios and work through various signatures here as you can get much more information and a better feel for individuals than bidding sites.

I don't know the other websites. At Elance you can check the portfolio and reputation of anyone who bids for your job. It's interesting, because you have more freedom to check which is more worthwhile for you: reputation or price.
