Outsourcing Article Writing

Ok, so I contacted someone in the copywriting forum here on clickbank but am wondering what other resources are useful for finding someone to write a couple of decent articles for a good price. While I am a good writer, I just do not enjoy it that much and therefore constantly put it off. I need the content however so I have decided to try and pay a little bit for a couple of articles to test the waters. What are the best places to find writers.. and no offense to anyone, but if I read the article and can tell english is not their first language, I am not interested.

I have used getafreelancer and elance - I had more luck with elance, but I would recommend reading some of the other adverts people write there and making yours as specific as you can and fully defining your terms and requirements... even with this I think it is very difficult to find a reliable, quality writer for a decent price... I would say if you try 5 you might find 1 decent one, and try 20 to find one really good one with whom you will keep working with long term...

It depends on what you are looking for. .01/word will typically get you Google food. This would be spinner friendly stuff for engines or content written by foreigners. Look to pay between .02 to .03 for good content. You need someone who understands marketing and understands how to write for a particular audience. Does it need to be informative or persuasive? I work with a 4 U.S. and U.K. writers and our work is second to none at the price point.

Elance seems to be the place to go. However, I've tried 3 writers so far. And only one of them has actually delivered 60% of the articles originally assigned to them. The good thing about elance is that you only pay for what you receive.

I have not experimented with other services. But overall, it's pretty tough to find a good writer.

I've found some really good writers through getafreelancer, but you will have to be very specific regarding your needs and I recommend only going with writers that have A LOT of excellent feedback. If you only offer $1 per 500 words, you will only get crap writers responding, but for $3-$4 per 500 words you can find some excellent writers willing to work for you. Other good sources are elance, as mentioned, odesk and also textbroker.com (a lot of US based writers work with textbrokers).

$3-4 and you get good writers? you luck bar steward, actual native english speakers who know how to write should charge at least $8 for a 500 word article and that is minimum because with proper research a 500 word article should take an hour to write and seriously what is the point of working online if you are only making $8 an hour, my last job at kfc paid well more than that

Go to rentacoder.com and find women called Lisa by the username "Lisa G"... #2 ranking out of 1,000's of freelancers and #1 for writing category. I've worked with her in the past. She does a very good job. Hope it helps.

Well, I actually used to work as a freelancer writer (before I got into affiliate marketing) and I can write a GOOD 500 word article in half an hour. Unfortunately, there is a lot of competition from places like India (where there ARE plenty of native English speakers), which drives prices down even for U.S. based writers. There are a lot of excellent Indian writers out there who will write 500 word articles for less than $4, but also many U.S. writers as well who work for that rate. Quality varies, of course, so you need to careful and make sure you have good references or go through a reputable company like textbroker.com.

I got some good proposals from elance and a couple of the samples from some of the writers were great quality. Looks like it may cost me around $7 an article for the higher quality writers. I was hoping for a little cheaper, but I guess if I am looking for a little more than google food, this is not too bad

I recently got into outsourcing writing and one tip I can share is: Always ask them for writing samples, so you can check their grammar is OK before assigning anything.

There is a section on the forum where you can look for writers 2. It's under Buy>>Services.

Samples sometimes will not help you so much. What if they have ready-made samples which have been prove read and corrected by a pro? Its like believing in testimonials you read on sales pages.

I got some surprisingly good writing from .99centarticles.com. They're slow, but I was amazed. Definitely native - and it appeared American-born - English speakers. The articles weren't bursting with creativity, but they were great for spider food.

For really good writers, you have to check out Constant-Content. You won't get them cheap. The average rate for selling away the rights to the article is around $100 per article. The quality is top-notch. Constant-Content is known to reject a single punctuation error.

I do it all myself, but then again, when I'm not writing for my sites, I freelance in the content creation section. If you need any work doing, send me a PM :)

Maybe you can hire people in odesk. You can opt to arrange a project in fixed so you have the option how much to pay, depending on the quality of work or your deal with the provider. I do spinning for my articles using easyarticlespinner.net though. Since I need a lot of articles for my campaigns. You might as well make a good use of a spinner.

All I have to say is if you're looking for quality avoid freelancers here on DP like the plague. Most don't have much sense of how to write proper English and produce crap articles and work in general. I've found a few outside sources that work great.
