I'm currently looking at possibly outsourcing my affiliate program, because I don't have the time to manage it myself, and it currently sucks. If anyone has done this before, or if you manage programs for other companies let me know about how successful it can be, cost, etc. I'm not looking for offers right now, just general information on people's experiences from both sides of affiliate outsourcing. Thanks in advance Jamie Also, the program would be with the intent of lead generation.
Hi Jamie, I'm an outsourced affiliate management consultant by trade but don't personally manage programs any more, only do advertising and PR for affiliate programs. I refer most biz out to others and I know almost everyone it the business so if you get close to working with someone feel free to call me for feedback. I work with and do PR for 2 of the top outsourced companies in the industry. PartnerCentric and AMWSO. You can see reviews of their services and lists of programs they manage on my site. Most GOOD AMs I know charge 3600 - 10,000 per month, depending on the size and scope of the affiliate program. I know that sound like a lot but thats for bigger programs. I know a couple good managers that take on smaller programs for a lower fee too, but their rates depend on the program and what you need as well. Beware no one that is any good will work on a straight commish so if anyone ever offers to they do not know what they are doing. Feel free to call me for a free consultation if you are serious about outsourcing and I can evaluate your needs and connect you with a good match. I take free consults 2-4 PM PST. My number is on my site. Hope this helps and best of luck!
