    Hello everyone,

I have recently had a few problems with my Laptop so I have bought a new one. However this is on a 'part exchange' deal.

My current laptop has a lot of important emails on which I need. Is there anyway that I can get these onto my new laptop?

    Thanks in advance :)

I think you can export the messages and then import them in to the new laptop. try the Tools menu.

You can also just move the inbox files, but they're really buried in the Documents and Settings folder

Now's a good time to switch to Thunderbird

Can you help me on exporting the emails? When I do it where does it save the emails?

    Thanks

    * Select Tools | Options... from the menu in Outlook Express.
    * Go to the Maintenance tab.
    * Click on the Store Folder... button.
    * Make sure you highlight the full folder location.
o It's easiest to click in the location with the right mouse button and select Select All from the pop-up menu.
    * Press Ctrl-C to copy the string.
