I've heard that it is not good to place a link on a site with many outbound links. 1. What are outbound links? Are these links on "that" site which point to many other sites besides my site? So if there is already 200 other links, it will not help me much toward PR if I add my link? Is this correct? 2. If I add a link on some site, does it make any benefit/harm if I place it on many pages on that site?
1. Yes, outbound links are links on a page that point to external pages. No matter how small the PR contribution, it helps 2. Do you mean sitewide and normal links? Sitewide links will not hurt your site definitely
1.) Outbound links are the links pointed to another site. 2.) Sometimes it might harm your website, especially if you are linked to a bad neighborhood.
Inbounds inprove your rankings on SE's Sitewide links is a link on every page of the site. Normal is usually just on one page.
Ok with sitewide now . What is static link? Someone wants that I put static link on my site. Which link isn't static? Like one within blog post or forum signature?
