We want to move a website section (basically an index page in a folder "domain.com/sectionA/") to another domain, so we want to put some text, a banner and 2 buttons with links to the new domain page. We count 6 links to the new domain (2 links to root, 4 links to different sub-sections in the new domain). How much link juice we are loosing, eaven if the 6 links are going to the same domain? As I say, 2 to the root, 2 to newdomain.com/new-section-1/ and 2 to newdomain.com/new-section-2/ We want to get all the link juice possible to the new domain and respective sections, but we don't want to affect the main domain (domain.com) and their rankings.
Maker sure you set up 301 redirect on the moved sections. If you have any links pointing to the pages you will be moving the link juice they give will be redirected to the new domain. You can't have it on both sites at the same time.
Actually I don't need the 301's I' don't need to "move" the content. We want to approach the page rank we have in the section to introduce new services, but we already have other domain were we want to point the traffic. So we are going to point some links to the new domain/sections, my only concern it was if it is the same to have 1 outbound link to a new domain or to have 4 or 6 links to the same domain will affect the link juice share.
