Outbound Links Counter

    My apologies if this has been discussed before, but does anyone know of a way to count clicks on outbound links (non adsense) on a website?

    I have a couple of ads on my page and I'd like to know how effective they have been.

    I was going to mention the onClick but then I hit the link posted by Monty and found out google analytics suggesting it, too.
