Has anyone exited the sand box as a result of this update? Or it is too early to tell as Jagger is still ongoing?

Not seeing any of my sandboxed sites being released as yet. I've got one site that has been sandboxed now for 1.5 years, so I'd love something to happen!

I do know that one of my sites came out of the sandbox in the latter stages of Bourbon, so we'll see what happens in the next week or so.

I think that might be the "keyword competiveness" syndrome, not the sandbox. It's basically when a keyword is competitive and sites don't automatically rank first making their webmasters call "I'M SANDBOXED!" just for the sake of covering their lack of SEO abilities. I could be wrong, of course.

There sure is a "keyword competiveness" syndrome, and along with the Google algo, and spam, my site can't be found.

For instance, say I have a great site on Oklahoma weddings. The Google algo will find every single site with the word Oklahoma and the word weddings, not necessarily together, unless the user puts it in quotations.(which they normally don't)

I can remember years ago, if you typed in the words Oklahoma wedding, the sites with those two words together automaticly come up first. Not anymore. However Yahoo searches are still based on this method, which I am grateful.

since this update my 2 sites in the sand box are still in the sand box, no change in serps, BL's dropped and PR went up.

To be honest I'm fed up of checking, coming up to a year in the sand box now. It's getting a little soul destroying now so if I don't check I can't get more upset :)

The only thing that jumped out is my site/domain name.

I rank 1 for Dnepr Import

    Someonewhois,

I can understand the argument regarding competitive terms, but sometimes it just doen't stand up to examination.

This site has been top 10 in Yahoo and MSN for the same term for over a year, yet it's nowhere to be found on Google. However, I have an older site that ranks top 20 in Google and top 10 in Yahoo / MSN for the term.

The only thing that seems to be holding back the site is age ... simple as that. I guess that because it is a competitive area doesn't help either though. :)
