Out of directory sandbox

You may find something in the image below

My directory always stays at 400 visits per day, and most search keyword would be link: somesite.com or just somesite.com, few others.

But from May. 24, I find something different at my directory statistics. the visits and keywords are increasing which has not happened in the whole year from its born.

I think it shows my directory is out of directory sandbox and get SERP for some keywords now.

So do you have anything same in your directory?

Mostly for new directory (new domain), would not get better SERP at SE's especially in Google. As it is new and it is unbelievable. From my statistics, in the last 12 months, I got few hits from my keywords, that means most of my keywords are on low SERP, few people would find them. And most hits from SE's are something like "link:somesite.com" which is checked for someone's back links.

But from last month, I got some more hits, few "link:somesite.com" but more how to do shopping, how to find something, ect. which has not happened to my directory before.

I think all these mean my directory is believable to Google, and some keywords got better SERP than before.

    Is it clear?

Nice to see the increase in your visitors - I've seen our page views and traffic increase around the same time period.

Antonio, I doubt that this was a sandbox effect... you have probably just started to pick up more relevant back links to the directory which is a natural occurence with the aging of any site.

PS: But congrats for the extra traffic, always nice to see developing directories to do well.... now if only I could get some good rankings :D

    Cool. ;)

BTW, all my domains are new so they would get in sandbox. Some old domain may not have this problem.

yah, but surely u don't expect results to be immediate right? Seeing increase abt half a yr later sounds quite reasonable..... think its prob due to that.

Google assigns different levels of credibility to sites. When you have high credibility like this forum, you can rank for anything. When you do something that gets you labelled as a spammer, you cannot rank for anything. Keep plugging your site without listening to too many people here.

Increase the credibility of your directory to get removed from sandbox
